First National Employees Chip In For Hurricane Victims

Soon after Hurricane Harvey hit Texas, First National employees began talking about a way they could help the victims. Many agreed that cash was the best way to help those in need. That is why several employees worked together to create a “jeans day” at the bank.

Every employee had the opportunity to donate $10 to the American Red Cross. For their donation they got to wear jeans one day at work. Many employees donated more than $10. And dozens of our wonderful customers chipped in as well. Just over $2,000 was raised.

But the bank wasn’t done giving. President and CEO Randy Crawford announced that the bank would match the $2,000 donation. That made the total donation to the American Red Cross over $4,000, which was earmarked for Hurricane Harvey victims.

I am proud of the way our employees and customers selflessly donated to their fellow Texans,” said Crawford.
